Victim

'Victim' (originally titled 'The Victim') is a psychological thriller / character study written by Mark Battle and life-long friend and fellow film enthusiast Chris Fuoco. The movie is the product of a year-long brainstorming session that began between Chris and I back during the post-production of 'Old Man.' Since that time, we have developed several story treatments for a handful of different film projects, but 'Victim' was always the clear front-runner in terms of scope and sensibility; it is the perfect amalgam of Chris' penchant for horror and my passion for drama.

The film suffered an unfortunate false start back in the Spring due to casting difficulties and was put on temporary hiatus until such time as we could find the perfect ensemble. Just a couple of months later, all the pieces started falling into place. We have an absolutely amazing cast this time around and things are looking very promising.

'Victim' is currently in pre-production with principal photography just around the corner in February.
