'Tesco' was an idea friend and co-writer John Mason and I had been kicking around for quite sometime; we were both really excited about the idea of filming a series of 3-5 minute 'webisodes' based on a character we had created several years back in another short film. The initial concept was a dark comedy series about a likeable odd-job / hitman / redneck type character and his infamous misadventures. After completing work on the pilot, the project and character took on an unexpected darker tone and the result was something that we have yet been able to categorize.
