'This Road' was filmed on location in New Hampshire's lakes region in late summer with very little plan and very little direction. The majority of the music video was photographed in just a couple of hours in and around a rustic cabin area in the woods with Dave Munro of Air Traffic Controller singing over himself from an old cd player we found. After the initial shoot with Dave, I brought my camera wherever I went for the next day and half, capturing as much raw driving footage that I possibly could; down quiet country roads, busy city streets, highways, etc. I was concerned that the cabin footage wouldn't immediately mesh with the driving footage but I think the results were surprisingly satisfying.
